Poor game last time out - 8/9 out of 10 games are poor mate. There are people around who use the same term legend for Rooney when he is simply a grossly overpaid and average player. Is he as good as the all time greats Pele, Maradona or George Best and would Real or Barca swap Ronaldo or Messi for him? No chance he is a football great and neither is Carly Froth anywhere near a boxing great.
pele, maradonna, best, messi etc are bigger than legends ya muppet...they are the absolute peak of the peak. the elite of the elite. Legendary status can be given for things other than talent. Butcher is a legend with England but nowhere near the greatest defender they have had not even close.

That is irrelevant though. You could be the second best in your division behind the greatest ever and be the second greatest ever boxer still. Ward is a world class fighter and possibly the best super middleweight of all time. Hatton was number 1 in a good division but it didn't have someone of the class of Ward. Both had great careers but Froch achieved more in my opinion.
