What has Wonga got to do with anything?

Wayne Rooney earned £300k per week and only had 2 touches in his last match away to Hull City

nope not a chance not even 1 of hayes fights comes close to being as exciting or entertaining in the ring.. his most exciting fight came when he fought Chisora and that was due to the shenanigans before the fight.
name these 5 so called huge fights that were a great spectacle ........

Poor game last time out - 8/9 out of 10 games are poor mate.

There are people around who use the same term legend for Rooney when he is simply a grossly overpaid and average player.

Is he as good as the all time greats Pele, Maradona or George Best and would Real or Barca swap Ronaldo or Messi for him?

No chance he is a football great and neither is Carly Froth anywhere near a boxing great.

pele, maradonna, best, messi etc are bigger than legends ya muppet...they are the absolute peak of the peak. the elite of the elite. Legendary status can be given for things other than talent. Butcher is a legend with England but nowhere near the greatest defender they have had not even close.

That is irrelevant though. You could be the second best in your division behind the greatest ever and be the second greatest ever boxer still. Ward is a world class fighter and possibly the best super middleweight of all time. Hatton was number 1 in a good division but it didn't have someone of the class of Ward. Both had great careers but Froch achieved more in my opinion.

yup lets all now rip into Pac-man .. didnt beat floyd, he's not the best in his weight division he is hopeless and overated. Suppose goin by this logic we can rule out Foreman and Frazier, Hearns wasnt that great either .... none were the best in their weights :patsch
