    margarito is the most overrated fighter of the last 10 years here....because manny beat him and floyd never fought him...and this forum is full of idiots

    It was a great win.

    I remember thinking during that fight that Pacquiao would pay a big price for it, and it seems likely that he did.

    The victory helped to cement his standing among fighters while at the same time tipping him over to the downside.

    In addition to age, wars bring the decline of fighters faster than anything else.

    Margarito may NOT have been at his best, but he was way too big for Pacquiao to be fighting against.

    Great win. Costly.

    Yep. At that point Pacman had been in wars with Morales, Ledwaba, Marquez, Barrera, Cotto and then Margarito.

    It was just the last straw.

    Do you disagree that Margarito would KO the list I posted?

    And I said THAT VERSION because the version Pac fought was in the best shape of his career, came in SHREDDED, and was 165 pounds on fight night. Also because the Juanita OP said THAT VERSION of Margarito was completely shot :)nut) and completely drained :)nut).

    I used to think Pac was god, pac was the greatest ever. However Floyd Mayweather showed me the light and completely exposed him. I don't rate anything pacs done now after that one sided beatdown he took from Floyd

    his performance in that fight was as or more relentless, more ferocious than his previous fights. if not for his eyes, he was about to make cotto go on his knees again in their 2nd fight.
