Simple. Ward has OPTIONS.

There are fights with DeGale, Groves, Chavez or Froch [if he decides to come back] @ 168. Then, of course, there are two big fights waiting for him @ 175 in Stevenson and Kovalev. Finally, he can fight some of the '60 pounders who are looking to move up. Lee and Quillin come to mind.

Meanwhile, Bum-love-kin continues to knock over TOMATO CAN after TOMATO CAN on his extended Bum Of The Month tour - making peanuts in the process.

Ward is the "A side" in this equation...

why does anyone care who is "a" side? i'm not getting a cent of their cut, so i certainly don't. same with people bragging about an athletes car, houses, women, etc. it has nothing to do with or for any fan, it is irrelevant. the only thing that matters is what happens on the field, court, rink, ring, etc.

These are the facts..Roc nation paid 2 million to ward they also paid BET tv time buy air time.They also paid the arena.The whole card was paid for by Roc Nation.then after all that they were giving thousands of tickets away for free,yes thousands.then after all that they get just only four hundred k views on the television.Ward cost roc nation millions of dollars in his first fight.not to mention how much it cost ROC to buy out ward to Goosen...ITS A FAIL and Ward is the B side....sorry but this is the maths.

Ward has tons of options... just ask Virgil Hunter who talked about all the great options for Ward..... er... nevermind, Hunter actually said they were searching hard and all they could come up with was Paul Smith who was far from their first choice.

So dumb. If you list Froch as an option then SURELY Cotto and Canelo are options for GGG. Both are fighting at mw. Another point would be that Ward already said no to Frochs demands and also add that both Froch and Chavez would take a GGG fight over Ward ANY day.

You call GGG childish names but GGG has asked HALF of the guys you listed for Ward to a fight...so what does that make Ward? Oh I forgot, Ward's resume from 5 years ago, right?

A side is determined by ratings and popularity. It's unfortunate and the reason why a guy like Canelo can call the shots. The numbers CLEARLY say ggg is the a side to Ward. You're an igorant moron for bringing up Wards pay for that garbage fight as the viewer ratings tell the story.

GGG has called out Cotto, Canelo, Quillen, Lemieux, Chavez and Froch. Are those guys all cans? Ward doesn't call people out because because, for some dumb reason he feels he doesn't have to.
