Jimmy Young was an excellent boxer and that was not prime George.

He wasn't prime in the 90s either

Certainly but he would be fighting a chinny fighter who is easily discouraged in Wlad. Foremans jab sets up the ko blow.

How can you define him as an "excellent boxer"? Losing 1 of his first 3 fights? How about losing 2 of his first 6 fights? Na, it's got to be losing 4 of his first 11 fights.

A guy that goes 34-19 is not an "excellent boxer".

Wlad hasn't been floored in 10 years, doubt foreman even touches his chin

Foreman lost wide decisions to glass chinned fighter like Tommy Morrison and got destroyed by axel shulz whom a 20 year old Wlad easily beat

He was a highly ranked hwt contender during hwt Boxings golden years. He nearly beat Ali and Norton. He did beat Foreman. You are another one who looks at records but never watches fighters fight. That's the problem with many who are young and inexperienced.

Just as naive as your previous posts were, this one is more so.

I have watched several of his fights; all that are available on YouTube.

You don't have that many losses and be considered great. Wladimir does everything better than Jimmy Young, but Old Foreman beats him.

    Shut it.

We would be putting Foreman at his best during that time period not Foreman at his worst against Wlad. Foreman was a wrecking ball of a fighter and he would most certainly knock out the very weak chinned Wlad. Wlad has feasted off the poorest lowest skilled bunch of pretenders I have ever seen in my lifetime. Mostly low skilled European hwts and equally poor American fighters. I see Foremans ramrod jab keeping Wlad on his heels and breaking up his offence, making him think. Once this occurs it's a matter of time. One punch probably ends it or ends it quickly soon after.

Foreman might take a pounding, but he would KO/TKO Wlad. Solid chin, ATG power, deceptive speed with weird punch angles. Foreman had one of the best jabs in the division and any flush power shot from Foreman would be big trouble for Wlad.

This isn't a prime foreman. This is the 45 year old foreman

Never said he was great. Young was an excellent boxer. I watched all his bouts live and in person did you? If you can read look up a few articles concerning Young. Not too late for you if you can comprehend.

Prime Foreman would be a different kettle of fish.

What Old George achieved in his comeback was fantastic, let's give him credit. His power, doggedness and durability may, as Dino and Fists of fury have stated, be underrated now. I admit that his jab was a lot nastier than I remembered it.

But, COME ON, guys, Wlad feeds off the plodders without breaking a sweat. OLD Foreman may lay a few shots in there, but he will look like hamburger at the end of the bout. His jab is nasty, but you are not one-shotting Klitschko with only that. I do NOT see him out jabbing Wlad, I do NOT see him closing the ring off on him. :nono In fact, I doubt that Wlad will even need to transform himself into Grabamir Klinchko for this one ;)

This fight will look like Mercer/Wlad, which was a massacre. :!:

Wlad is bigger, stronger, faster, younger, more technically skilled ... not looking good for OLD Foreman. George's heart will only get himself sent to hospital.

Here I disagree. I think that there's an outside chance that Old Foreman gasses out young Klitschko, IF he can handle the heavy artillery. I could envision a Puritty style win for the old dude. Not likely, but a chance.

Old Klitschko is still way faster than old George, but he is much more defensive, harder to hit, and paces himself a LOT better than his younger incarnation. Not good for the older Foreman version.

no way, oldlungs cant beat the young top athletes ones in long run events. prime 20somethingkltishcko has a chance of gassing out near 50 year old foreman.

foreman is nasty fast coming forward, his feet plod though. fast, hard hands not good for wladdie. young foreman absolutely atombombs Klit.
