GGG gets the s*** beaten out of him on these forums all the time, and personally while he gets some I don't think Ward gets nearly as much. As far as the CW thing, GGG is an average sized MW he doesn't really have the frame to move up that much so while I'm not in love with CW's I can see where GGG's concerns are coming from. But as far as Ward goes he competed as a LHW as an amateur, he rehydrates well beyond LHW and the only reason why he'd want a CW is to drain Sergey who can barely make LHW in the first place.

It's not K2's problem Ward cannot make 164. If he was a TRUE 168 fighter this would not be a problem. Ward is a LHW and everyone here knows it.

Ward needs to move up and end the theatrics.

Dude Ward gets as much hate as GGG. And it's the opposite side for the fans. The floyd fans will **** on GGG, and the european fans will **** on Ward.

Yes, yes, you make good points, but you play into my point too. You say Ward was a LHW as an amateur and he rehydrates well beyond LHW, so asking Ward to fight at 164 is absolutely moronic. I know you see it as a negotiating tactic, but you also said I see where GGG concern comes and that's where it all goes back to. I don't think GGG's team wanted this fight at 168, and now they've convinced him the risk isn't worth it.

So can GGG make 156 against Cotto, since Cotto is clearly the A side? It's not Cotto's teams problem that he can't make 156 right, if he's a true 160 fighter. Now i know you're going to say yeah he can make ti blah blah, but if cotto asked for this, you know you and all the other ggg nut huggers will crucify him.

I knew that would be your response. I think GGG is just testing the waters and seeing if they can get what they want, he's just negotiating nothing more.

If Cotto asked for it GGG could make it and I wouldn't crucify Cotto if he had no belt, but he holds a 160 belt, so the fight should really happen at 160.

I'm a way bigger GGG fan than a Ward fan. I mean honestly I'm practically the only guy who has stated that it's a 50/50 fight in the past that's neutral. From a GGG fan's perspective that tries to leave the bias out, he has no intentions of fighting Ward at 168.

But Cotto is clearly not a 160 fighter :lol:. He's tiny compared to GGG, yes he got the belt, but the only reason he went up was for the name on his resume. Why would you crucify him when you sure as hell know Cotto at 160 is a huge disadvantage?

I'm a huge GGG fan as you know and ironically I think he has no chance against Ward if I'm being completely honest.

yep, see this is what I'm saying though, majority besides bandwagoners, and I dont think you're a ggg bandwagoner(you're more of a wlad/kovalev bandwagoner), think Ward beats GGG clearly, especially the neutral and GGG haters. The GGG fan boys think he wins 100%, then there's me the guy who doesn't take sides(unless it's against a brit, then all logic goes out the window), that thinks it's 50/50 at 168.

Yes Cotto is not a 160 fighter but he's a lineal champ and holds the WBC belt. It's pretty reasonable to ask him to defend them at that weight.

Now if he had no belts/no connection to 160 and stayed at 154 it would be ok for a cw fight between him and GGG. I wouldn't have a problem with it, same with Canelo (although we know Canelo is clearly beyond 154) :good

Its all good. I know where you are coming from.

Though I generally do like to see who/what the convo is I am jumping in on myself, because its also pretty common for people to have back-and-forth discussions/insults/etc that look different out of context.

Yeah, so if he drops his belt, to not fight GGG will you crucify him? It's not a fair fight so.

I'm not a Wlad bandwagoner, I'm just realistic...NO ONE at HW can beat him.

    Kovalev....guilty as charged.:yep
I love GGG but I'm just being honest, I don't think he'll fare well at SMW and want him to stay at MW. Just like I don't think Sergey would do great at Cruiser.

Yeah, no one at HW now, but when you bring up the past, you are a bandwagoner. I'm pretty sure you think he's p4p #1 h2h, with no hofers on his resume. You know me CST lol, i aint gonna suck up to you, if I think something I'm going to tell you straight on.

I'd honestly have to see GGG fight at 168 first to make a conclusion.
