I meant moving the ball with the head, little shifts with the feet and body. Just another way of using it.
Yup. Do you honestly think I'm going to sit here and explain each and every reason a boxer may use the speed bag and explain why that's wrong/doesn't work/doesn't make sense etc etc. I don't see why you're avoiding answering the question? All I'm asking is for you to give a few 100% proven reasons why I should use a speed bag? Go to Google then... So the pro's do it so it's a valid method? Mayweather beats up women. When are you going to add that to your training?
C'mon what has Mayweathers personal life got to do with anything! You didn't ask for 100% proven reasons as I have said before you change / twist things around to suit. I don't think anyone is saying go to the gym and only use the speed bag, it's incorporated into a training routine to assist with what has already been mentioned. And back on you're previous post, yes I still want you to explain why it's a waste of time when it part of a training session/routine?
He's a pro boxer. Anything he does is 100% legit. That's what you say when it comes to the speed bag or does this logic only apply when it comes to you attempting to prove a point? Not changing anything. Obviously if you utilize a training method it's 100% proven to work or you wouldn't use it. You feel the speed bag is useful. I'm asking why you think that is the case. Who said anything about only using the speed bag? Mate, if you can't give 2-3 basic reasons as to why you use the speed bag in your training you clearly don't know why you use the thing in your training.
I never mentioned anything about Mayweather, reasons have been mentioned already. It's not always about being right or wrong there's usually good reasons for and against you don't seem to be able to prove the against reasons? :huh
You mentioned pro boxers multiple times. Mayweather is an example of a pro boxer. If your reasoning is "well the pro's do it" you can't cherry pick certain aspects of their training to prove your point. What you're saying is a blanket statement meaning EVERYTHING they do is good (just going by your logic here). So, Mayweather beats up women. If it's good for possibly the best boxer in the world, why don't you do the same? Again, your logic. Again, there's a huge list of methods that boxers THINK works but they just don't, due to a lack of an understanding of how the human body works. I'm attempting to get you to name a few aspects to discuss, but you're avoiding the question for some reason.
"Matey" the speed bag improves hand/eye coordination, reflex response time and trains the shoulders in keeping your hands up thus why this piece of equipment has been used by thousands of boxers and trainer alike for years. By the way, in this day of advanced training methods it is still used as you can see by the Youtube vids posted of Mayweather and Pacquiao , so smarten up kid, you're sounding like a tomato can, cheerio mate!:hi:
