Just found out these two are getting it on......absolutely great news. What a contest by 2 superbly skilled boxers. At the moment I fancy Rigondeaux but my opinion will vary in the build up to this fight. Credit where credit is due to Lomo for making this happen.

    Lomachenko - Rodriguez - 138lbs
    Lomachenko - Piriyapinyo - 132lbs
    Lomachenko - Russell - 138.5lbs
    Lomachenko - Salido - 136lbs
    Lomachenko - Ramirez - 129lbs

Here you go guys. So yeah, we're both kinda wrong.

It's just speculation. But it needs to happen. It would be the most significant fight since the super 6.

    Fair enough.

Out of curiosity, do you have a site that keeps track of all these? Getting accurate weights for non-HBO fights (however accurate those are, I always think theyre ballpark but still taken haphazard) is a royal pain.

Even if they were stripped-scale weights, it doesnt look like picking up a final couple pounds of fluid after the final weigh-in will be crippling. HBO weights are pretty close to fight I think, I believe they just bring a scale into the dressing room.

An official weight for contract would likely have to be done earlier in the day.

2 great fighters that are willing to take on literally anyone in and around their weight classes.

I don't know who I'm more impressed with between the 2. Rigo is a small junior FW, so him moving up to 126 for this challenge is just incredible. On Loma's end, he's taking on one of the best fighters pound for pound after only 5 pro fights under his belt.

It's a 50-50 fight IMO between 2 very skilled boxers.

Rigo would school this crude EE brawler.

Looks like team Lomachenko accepted 134lbs rehydration clause.

I would laugh so hard if he walked to the ring with that.
