Firpo was not a text book fighter and the unexpected attack was a strength.....I see Vlad handling Firpo by using caution and pin-point power shots to take Firpo out but the Vlad of the Sanders fight just may get ambushed
I see Wlad winning comfortably and early. But if Firpo does manage to land early like he did on Dempsey, it changes the entire complexion of the fight. Is this a real punchers chance?
f\irpo was powerful, but the main advantage he had over contemporaries was size & muscle. He would not be at all big today. Since Klitchk would fight more cautiously, he lasts longer than then. but Klitchko never goes down either. It would be a complete mismatch.
Firpo goes in with a punchers chance personally I don't see him winning . He won't be able to rely on his strength here to bull wlad around couple that with his lack of technique and it could well be a painful night for firpo .wlad may early on look flustered by the speed that firpo rushes at him but wlad will no doubt grab him hug him and lay all over him . Firpo does as well as no hopers such as Wach,Leapai,Charr , and Pianetta and he may drop the Ukrainian if he lands but Wlad 's cautious technique points to a gradual ,safety first breakdown , as Firpo begins to blow, mid to late rounds stoppage for Wlad.
