I keep telling you hammer heads that Amir is the truth. The young man is going to be a star. He is a monster man at 140 and the current crop at that weight is in for a rude awakening. I see some exciting for him with the winner of Lucas and Postal and if he gets past that which I think he will, then Crawford and to be honest I would like to see him fight Peterson. He will be seasoned when he hits the welters and that's when the real show begins.

  2. He has to fight b level guys so we can really gauge him as a fighter. It's easy beating low level comp like Gennady but when you step up to a Ward will you cop a plea and try to politic? Or will you bang out and go for broke?

Let me get this straight, so GGG is a bum cause he's dominating a weak division
but this kid is the future cause he just ko'd a guy with 9 losses?

He needs to improve. He ate left hooks like they were giving them away free.

Can't tell much from this weak of opposition.

  5. He is in a real division with real solid competition. Peter Quillin has a better record than Golovkin and he barely fights anymore. So what does that say about Middle weight domination.

Quillen couldn't even get past Andy Lee, do you really think GGG would not beat Lee.

And your math is a little iffy.

so your comparing former world titlists and world title challengers and top 10 contenders to the C level fighters your accusing Ali of fighting.

For one, both Angulo and Castillo are easily B level top 30 types.

And the way you word your post, your'e suggesting, that until Ali steps up and fights Pacqioua, Mayweather or Cotto, he's nothing:patsch

Kid has talent, a lot of potential, seems like he has 1 punch ko power in either hand. Whats not to like?

i like him but he needs like 10 more fights before he is ready and by then he might move up in weight and not have as much pop. if he could keep making 140 this kid could really be something big.

I'm very excited about this kid. I hate that Don King has him. A fighter to Don King is like a ***** to a pimp. He needs at least five more fights to develop before he gets in the ring with a Mattesaye or Postol. King doesn't care about this kid's development. He just wants that cash.

    He's certainly thick.

I think both he and Spence end up fighting at MW before it's said and done.

Spence and Ali might be the Leonard Hearns of this generation.:thumbsup
