Serious question, folks. Why did Floyd respect Pac's power and fight scared? Pac was, as the haters said, juice free since 2009, hence no stoppage, hence no power. Instead, Floyd was stunned and hurt in the contest. Let's also not forget that Floyd is significantly bigger than Pac and Pac's chin was shattered by Roidquez.
Before everyone says they're evenly sized (morons), keep in mind that Floyd said that Pac was SHOCKED at the size differential and TMT security guards publicly stated how shocked they were at how much bigger Floyd was.
He didn't fight scared, he fought smart, Pacquiao would've knocked Floyd spark out if he tried walking him down, just as Manny would've got knocked spark out if he got reckless and tried blitzing Mayweather, wake up for god's sake.
He boxed and cruised his way to an easy points win. Risk/reward as all decisions and actions in boxing are. If you fight to entertain, you likely decrease your odds of winning. If you fight to win, well, you know, should be obvious... Had Ivan Calderon stood with his feet planted and exchanged with every single one of his opponents, he would have been defeated much more often and decisive well before that time actually came in his career (vs. Segura).
Do people have evidence he was doping? I never was much of a fan of Pac or May, but was Pac really inserting uber juice in to his veins? :huh
Also, surely Zimornsky knows nobody has walked Pacquiao down with any success even outweighing him colossally, why would Floyd do that? He fought scared, or did he fight smart? Manny fell into the trap of thinking he could counter and outsmart and outspeed the master boxer and got comprehensively dismissed.
"Floyd was stunned and hurt in the contest." If that's the case then Amnat vs. Casimero was a back and forth war of epic proportions that I'M JUST GLAD THEY BOTH MADE IT OUT OF THERE ALIVE!! Banks vs. Mitchell II... Fight of the Year? Try Fight of the Ever-Since-David-Upset-Goliath!! What a tremendous war and display of punching power and chin. Boys got cheeeeeeen!!
Again, the argument was that Pac was juiced to the gills. Floyd sure he wasn't on the juice. So Floyd was fighting a juice-free Pac.
Almost every single fighter Pac faces tries to walk him down (unless they express signs of showing up just to cash the check). Pac annihilates those who come forward on him. A fighter who can actually box, move laterally and backward, show head movement, and bait a counter? Well, I can think of Marquez and Mayweather. Not good results for Pac. Why did Pacquiao, his coach, and his fans expect Floyd to fight the style of fight that would be advantageous to Pacquiao? They don't know anything about boxing. That is why.
Why did pacquiao throw less punches than Floyd? I thought he was gonna come with them 12 punch combos.
