Actually 2 inches taller with a 70 inch reach to Frampton's 62. He's also (clearly) a naturally far heftier fellow. Frampton could not achieve the same circumference without massive bloating or roid abuse. Don't let all of that get in the way of your turd counter-point though :D

Frampton still outclasses Quigg by a country mile. Fight wont even be close!!!
Last nights experience only made carl better...quigg's chances at beating frampton are even worse now!

It's like saying why didn't Mike Tyson fight at light middle weight.

It wasnt even a 'shaky fight'.
Watch it again. Hard-bitten US commentators were VERY impressed.
In many ways it was a brilliant display of boxing from Carl.

I'm no Eddie Hearn fan but Frampton was offered crazy money to fight Quigg and turned it down. A blatant duck. Fact. Frampton would never fight Rigondeaux either. After last nights scare I imagine he will just go back to fighting in front of a few thousand inbred drunks in Belfast.

This is spot on, fraudulent Frampton is mediocre at best. The hype is coming from his deluded, and starved of success fans from the backwater he's from.

I'm no fan of Frampton and have a dis-liking towards Barry but never doubted Carl's ability...until last night. Also I was not a fan of Quigg as I didn't feel he was A class, but on last night's performances it's safe to say there isn't a whole lot between them.Rigo is without doubt a grade above both boxers and there's only so long they can avoid him.

I'd love if Quigg's team went after Gonzalez just to test Quigg against the tough Mexican, how do people feel it would go??

Quigg would stop him inside 6 rounds. Frampton is about to run up to Featherweight, his team are taking running from Quigg to new levels.

I still think Carl wastes Scott.

Scott CANNOT fight going backward. Look at the last minute of that first round - He couldn't throw a SINGLE PUNCH going backward. And he has ZERO head movement.

Styles make fights. Scott, due to how limited his boxing ability is, will make Carl look awesome.

Don't get me wrong, Quigg got a great win last night, but that was Carl's international debut. No doubt there was nerves there (though he did look ice cool) and his team probably underestimated the other guy. And who know? Maybe that guy will do big things in the division as he certainly didn't look like a pushover.

Wasn't the soft canvas the problem rather than the talents of Gonzales :rofl
