How long have you been following boxing for? I know we have some experienced campaigner's on here like C.J. who's followed boxing for over 30 years. So vote on the poll and also reply to this thread with your choice so we can see who the experienced ones are and who not.

Watching since the mid 80's, following it since the late 80's.
But at the time it was much harder to actually follow boxing back then, because of the lack of media outlets. Buying magazines, newspapers and watching tv would only give you so much.

The first fight I remember is Tyson beating Spinks, the first fight I actually stayed up to watch as a kid was Tyson vs Bruno 1.

But I really didn't follow the sport seriously until 93 when Eubank was fighting on ITV's "The Big Fight Live" along with an up and coming Naseem Hamed.

More than 25 years and as you can tell from my posts I still know f*** all and I'm a very slow learner.

In terms of boxing smarts I would regard myself as one of those plodding journeymen.
I rarely get stopped but we all know I'm never going to win, you know the sort that never has his record read out before a fight.

And yes I am a little punchy now but I'm still swinging though, still believing I can still turn it all around.

Probably about the time Tyson got knocked out is when I really started to pay attention to boxing. I was maybe 11. hooked ever since. Sparred but never wanted to really get in the game.

I was actually on ESB back in 05' same name. I posted sporadic and eventually my account disappeared. Came back in 2010

My first taste of boxing was during the early 2000s. My father was a massive Barrera fan and we would always catch his fights live.
