Can we as boxing fans do anything about this PBC/Haymon Farce?

    Ehhh i hate Haymon as much as the next guy but let's be honest, there have been some damn good matchups.

    Thurman vs Guererro
    Khan vs. Algieri
    Porter vs Broner
    Lee vs. Quillin

    Two very good fights last night. Both very competitive. One upset. Best fights ESPN has telecast forever.

    For anyone with $50 to spend on basic cable ESPN is basically "FREE". Regular NBC and CBS do not require more than a $15 investment in a set of rabbit ear antennas to pick up crystal clear digital TV. Like I said...FREE. And I am talking about the US. If the man has put up his own money to get boxing exclusively off this subscription model, I don't see the problem. It takes time for a venture like this to grow and expand. When there's a significant enough ROI, then it can grow into a staple in the International market.
    HBO and Showtime have abused their power for far too long...banishing fighters who don't fit a certain mold. Change is needed.

    If Canadian service providers prefer beach soccer over Boxing, your beef is with them not Al Haymon. They should come to the table. Your gripes come across more like sour gr@pes than anything else.

    Just wanted to let everyone know that I have written to several US lawmakers to see if they can put together a committee to investigate this situation. I will let you know when/if I hear back. If you truly care about boxing you should do something as well.

    Least Lee didn't get robbed.

    Al Haymon could have easily robbed Lee, but then he'd have to put Quillin in with Saunders which would be asking far to much for him to fight back to back top 30s Lololol

    Wtf are all of you talking about? PBC is the best thing that has happened to boxing fans in the last 10-20 years. They have great fights on almost every other weekend. The fights that have little or no action would have been like that regardless of Al Haymon. I have an antenna that only recieves the free channels and don't pay a cable bill each month. This allows me to watch pbc a couple times per month vs never when ppv dominated.
