I don't know about you guys, but I'm still fairly confident that Frampton will box circles around Quigg. Yes Frampton got dropped twice, but he was too careless. If he tries the same approach against Quigg, then Scott could catch him. But i have zero doubt in my mind that Frampton will be classes above Quigg and outbox him to win a wide decision.

I always thought Frampton stops Quigg late and I still do.

I give Quigg a shot at stopping Frampton if he catches him, but that is unlikely.

Frampton's chin is not iron and was too eager on Saturday. But if he is disciplined and sticks to his boxing, then it would be a mismatch. I like Quigg and i respect him, but other than Rigon, then i have my doubts who else could beat a Frampton in shape and when he boxes and not brawls in his weight class.

    Quigg late stoppage.

Framptoms activity drops off late into fights while Quigg just comes on stronger and stronger.

A few Quigg body blows early could slow him down even more. He can't survive Quigg in the wheel house.

There's a reason Team Frampton want absolutely no part of Quigg.

I still favour Frampton, Quigg looked like ass for the first 4 mins vs Martinez until he landed that uppercut.

As always there is a punchers chance but Carl is the superior boxer IMO

What are you even talking about? :huh And 1st rounds do mean something, each round is scored individually on the ten point must scoring system. It's 1 twelfth of the fight excluding KD's and deductions.

Did I even imply that losing the first round of a fight means you would go on to lose? :nut

What I am saying is that Saturdays result hasn't elevated my opinion of Quigg particularly, fair play he hurt Kiko and got him out of there but he lost pretty much every second of the fight up until then. It was a good result but it looks better on the resume as KO2 than how the fight really went.

Unless he walks onto something big I see Frampton out boxing him, that's my point, in this thread about Frampton vs Quigg.

    lol@ at factoring a 12 round decision into a 2 round demolition job:nut

A fight is 12 rounds. Kiko wasn't goo enough to even make it into the 3rd. That is all you need to know.

And Frampton had Kiko hurt but couldn't come close to finishing him over 12 rounds.
Somehow that is more impressive to you:huh

Quigg didn't even try during round one. He was finding his rhythm and timing. Once he did - he destroyed Kiko.
Frampton was on his bike for 12 full rounds - not just one like Quigg.
    Learn the sport ffs.

You learn the sport you armchair loser. Your opinion on triangular theories is not the absolute truth you egotistical troll.
