    It's a total cherry pick, but hey, he's done his fair share in the sport now, I don't see why it's such a problem to have one easy fight at the end of your career.

    I think it's justified. I remember hoe people defended Rios and Chris fighting Manny. So you can only warm up if your chin gets cracked? GTFOH.

    Berto deserves the payday for missing so many helping his native country, you know,like how Manny helps the Philippines.

    No matter who he choose it would be criticized. He never wins the hearts of fans anyway.

    Very disappointing. Still gonna watch it, since it's free and perhaps the last we'll see of Mayweather in the ring, but it's truly disappointing to see him pick Berto for what may be his farewell fight.

    Guess I'll forgive him if he comes back for a 50th fight to whoop Pac again. :bbb

    Floyd can fight who he wants. He fought (and drew IMO) to Pacquiao.
    If he fights someone unranked, I wouldn't even care. He's earned it and his legacy is complete. The only way he can add to it as an unnecessary bonus is vs GGG at 154lbs.
