    On Fighthype.

It doesn't matter who's 'A side' or 'B side', that's such a cop-out Cotto diva like card to pull.

If Golovkin was willing to face Chavez Jr and Froch at 168lbs, then fight Ward at 168lbs. We MUST be willing admit that Golovkin ducked Ward at 168lbs.

Ward should not be a 168lber let alone at 164lbs. We all know he's starting to transition into LHW. What on earth is the point of fighting the smaller GGG when there's two power punching monsters who have great skills like Kovalev and Beterbiev at 175lbs?

A fighter in Ward's circumstance is just going to be drained. (I don't give Ward much credit for the Chad Dawson win by the way).

    Kind Regards

I'm not a Ward fan....at all. I gotta give him credit though if he's even willing to fight GGG, at no matter what weight. Gennady's the truth. Ward would have to be in clinch overdrive for that fight.

    old news............

chavez would be the a side hence why GGG HAS to move up

GGG would be the a side against ward so he does not HAVE to move up he is using all the advantages he can

The fight should be at 160 really but team GGG are being nice with the 164

GGG is the a side against ward that is not even up for debate

If ward wants the fight he HAS to accept the catch weight

anyway ward should worry about going to 175 and fighting kovalev

Of course Ward wants the fight. Not only is he the bigger man, and has fought the better opposition, but I believe he has the attributes necessary to beat Golovkin. From Golovkin's prospective, he has no obligation to fight Ward. He and his team have done a great job of building up Golovkin. Going up in weight and possibly losing to Ward is an unncecesary risk. It's a dangerous fight outside of Golvokin's division and there isn't much pressure from the fans and the media for him to take that fight.

So with that in mind, I see this as a potentially great fight that will not come to fruition in the near future. Golovkin can still make good money fighting lesser fighters while he waits for more manageable opponents than Ward to become available.

Not going to say he ducked because he never moved up, and until he does he's not oliged to fight any particular opponent in that weight class IMO, but that catchweight was some ***** ****, the guy who "broke the news" here, I actually thought he was trolling at first, was surprised to hear it was true.

Its sad but true that GGG can make about the same money fighting Monroe as he can Ward.

GGG-Ward should be a PPV fight if any fight is. Not saying it would be, but it just kinda peeves me how Canelo/Angulu, Manny/Rios, Floyd/anyone can get on PPV but Golovkin-Ward cant get made at all.

If he is willing, why isn't his promoter calling Tom Loefler ? He accuses Loefler of trying to make a fight via press, but is doing the same thing himself.
