doesnt matter what you do at previous weights (and also lost 2 of his last 4 fights in that weight)its what you are doing now in the current weight. And as i said were not comparing competition were comparing your reasoning ... Your reason that crolla didnt deserve the fight is that he hasnt faced high enough opposition ... well equally Khan has not fought anyone in the top 10 of his weight and doesnt intend to ! yet he and yourself say that his last opposition show that he does deserve a shot at the best.

However he hasnt faced anyone considered to be top level at WW so you cannot then use this as an arguement for Crolla getting the fight when you are campaigning for Khan v Mayweather who is in a similar boat. And Khan was impressive v Alexander v impressive but was equally unimpressive v Algieri. Who isnt even close to top 10 WW, not even close

TERRYTIBBS, I cannot believe how stupid you are. Burns got lucky against Beltran in getting the draw, that was hard on Beltran but that has absolutely nothing to do with Crolla. The guy comfortably beat Perez on Saturday and therefore deserves to now be the champion of the world. Just because someone was not given the decision against a fighter from the same promotional company a while back it doesn't mean that another fighter deserves to lose, that is just pure stupidity. Are you also saying that you would like to see more bad scoring decisions in boxing? Because from what I am reading you are very much saying that.

Why should he though? If its a robbery then you call robbery, no promoter is going to say my fighter didn't deserve to win if they were on the positive end of a bad decision but every promoter will say something if they are on the wrong end. Hearn has very little to do with this really it is about Crolla not getting what he deserved for a very good performance, and at the end of the day Hearn was asked his opinion post fight and gave his opinion, which was much more mild mannered than I expected it to be given the amount of emotion involved in this fight.

 

I think Eddie did admit that was wrong at the time, and if Crawford wasn't mandatory Beltran would have had an immediate rematch, no? Anyway, turns out Beltran only broke Burn's jaw coz he was a roid cheat, so serves him right really.

As for karma, this has done Eddie a favour Terry. Rematch, full arena. It's the fighters that suffer as usual.

As for the two slagging off Crolla in this thread, both Irish griping about English fighters, what a shock.
