Wlad extends TV contract for 5 fights -- plans to box at least 2 more years

    Wow, so I'm guessing after fury he'll fight, Wilder and AJ at somepoint in those 5 fights, could be make or break for him.

    I'm surprised he plans to fight for that long. It means at his current rate he'll likely retire in 2017 at the age of 41 at the earliest.

    Wilder and Povetkin are the most likely opponents after Fury which leaves 2 spots available in 2017 so a Joshua or Parker fight isn't out of the question. Always thought Wlad would be retired before either were ready for a shot but maybe not now, especially if Wlad fights beyond 2017.

    I think he'll look great against Fury because of the styles but the Jennings fight probably gives a more accurate idea of where he's at and I don't like it.

    He ain't fighting Joshua.
    Let's just all hope he gets wilder or whoever is the WBC TITLIST, then vacates and makes Briggs, USS, and maybe Hughie FURY.

    5 more fights is crazy. I thought he'll probably go for two then retire. Guess he'll continue fighting till someone forces him out of the sport by beating him in the ring.

    He'll fight Glazkov and take two voluntaries. He'll have 1 hard fight IMO. Povetkin rematch, Wilder or joshua.

    Frankly I hope he retires after Fury and Wilder, sure depends what happens in these fights but isnt a time to call it a day pretty damn soon?:huh

    Let the young guys take over, decent fighters coming up.

    The problem is there's barely much of a progressive learning curve toward Wlad so the younger guys can't get enough quality fights in, still would be highly impressive beating the young lions.

    They actually can, but most chose not to.
    Fury for example has avoided each and every big HW in the top 50 ranks, while he had the chance of fighting at least 3 (Pulev, Price and Ustinov).
