IMO floyd loses all credibility if his last opponent is the second biggest punching bag besides gabe rosado. this guy has lost to below b-class opponents in guerrero, ortiz and got tko'd by f-class jesus karAssshole.
if this fight happens then floyd and nostrils ellerbe should be hunted down by disappointed boxing fans.

Mayweather vs. Berto is complete mismatch. However, I think it's a big stretch to say that Mayweather loses all credibility for taking the fight. Remember, De La Hoya fought Steve Forbes after he lost to Mayweather. Forbes had to go up multiple divisions for that fight. It's hard to even argue that Forbes is better than Berto being that Berto beat Forbes. Hoya hardly lost all credibility after that fight.

I'll tell you what though, no way should this fight be on ppv, and there should be a good undercard. Floyd also needs to be aggressive in this fight.

If Berto knocks Floyd out, is it equal to or lesser than being knocked out by Singsurat? :think

You really can't compare Delahoya to Mayweather in terms of who they fought and when..

Hell No. There's no on else at his weight worthwhile. Don't mention thruman or brook because he's already beaten guys who are better then them who would KO them. So now. he's damn near 40, and he can fight whomever he wants to retire at 50-0. he's already beaten his so called greatest challenge and numerous other world champions

My argument never centered around their overall level of opposition. My point was simply that I don't believe that you can disregard everything a fighter has done in their career based off one choice of opponent. I believe Hoya is a good example of this as he took on a worse opponent than Berto in the form of Forbes, and didn't seem to lose all credibility.

what mayweather opponent can knock out brook at 147? the only fighters i have beating him are mosley and hoya, everyone else he either stops or wins a UD. Maidana and cotto are tough fights for brook though but i think he can beat both of them

I think Floyd's bunghole is probably more purple (constant bruising) than yellow.
