Pretty sure if GGG would beat Ward, haters would say Ward was a fraud

Ward wouldn't be a fraud but you better believe it would be because "Ward was weak" or "stupid catch weight" or "he was hurt"

If GGG beats Ward, people will start making excuses as to why a decent sized Middleweight like GGG who fights at barely 160, can beat a lightheavy weight fighter in Ward who comes in at fight night at 190. Be prepare for the accusations of cheating against GGG.

 

There's no way GGG beats Ward. Kovalev Ward is closer and is the fight that needs to be made.

 

I would give Ward credit, wouldn't change my opinion of GGG, as I like him and think he's a tremendous fighter. Losing to Ward doesn't make you a bum, if fact I'd take Ward to beat GGG.

You are correct though, in the his die hard fans would make excuses, same as die hard Ward fans.

 

Only a troll wouldn't give GGG credit for beating Ward. He should get credit.

Golovkin's stock would sky rocket. I had a dream about a year ago... Ward vs Golovkin. Ward was winning every single round, then at about round 8 or 9, he took a mean shot to the chin and was KO'd. It felt so surreal.

Golovkin takes top P4P if he beats Ward.

 

Who in their right mind would call Ward, a future hall of famer, a fraud if he lost to GGG? Wouldn't we just elevate GGG to a similar elite level as Ward?

Who in their right mind would call GGG a fraud if he lost to Ward? Wouldn't we say that Ward once again proved his greatness by turning back the challenge of the best middleweight of the last 5 yrs?

These crazy, drastic opinions need to cease. Enjoy these guys for who they are. One is a proven great of his era and the other is trying to make a move in that direction.

Hopefully the fight gets made and we can see how it plays out. These are the fights we should desire and demand!
