Lewis & Klitschko BOTH agreed to take the fight on short notice.

Lewis was scheduled to face Kirk Johnson and Klitschko was slated to fight Cedric Boswell on the undercard...!!!

When Johnson pulled out of the fight, Lewis & Klitschko (who had an agreement to fight later that year) agreed to fight each other on June 21, 2003 instead...!!!

What do you find wrong with the above and what would be your top 3 wins for both fellas?

A better question would be what would be the top 10 wins for each fella?

Old, fat, demotivated, last fight of his career Lewis TKO6 Vitali

Or his win over a 5 win streak Holyfield who had just unified the titles?

And pick any of Ruddock, Bruno, McCall, Tua, Grant, Golota, Morrisson, Mercer, Tyson etc etc

Lewis has a wide number of good wins which is why he is so highly regarded.

Byrds best wins are against Lewis leftovers.

why not just answer the question properly?
Actually Lewis's by far best ever win is against the post surgery Vitali Klitschko who Byrd had already tko'd.

Joe Louis defended the LINEAL title 25 times. That record is in no danger of being broken..

    Tyson Fury? C'mon now.

With how I view Wladimir, even at 39 or however old he better be able to beat that circus clown.

    Byrds best wins:
Vitali - even tho he lost every round
    OLD Holyfield - lewis leftover
    Tua - lewis leftover

    Lewis best wins:
Holyfield - coming off a 5 win streak and unifying the titles
Old, fat, demotivated final fight of career TKO6 Vitali
Ruddock - who was bombing everyone out in 2 rounds

The fact that Lewis has so many good wins means you can interchange those 3 for others.

Fair enough. So if Lewis is a lock top 5 ATG HW surely Byrd can't be that far behind either, just outside the top 20? Oh and at 233lbs Tua was actually in shape ve Byrd compared to the joke conditioning he had for Lewis weighing in at a disgraceful 245lbs.

Why do you keep saying this? Top 3 wins isn't the only factor in determining a fighters standing in the rankings, c'mon buddy.

I actually like Chris Byrd, he fought much bigger guys at a disadvantage all his career and that's something I can respect.

Well he has more than 3 good wins but that's not really the point. It stands to reason that from a ranking perspective Byrd and Lewis shouldn't be light years apart considering the opposition. There is no logical reason to have Lewis a lock for the top3 HW's ever and then have Byrd nowhere.
