“I need to be active. When I don’t fight is when I have more problems,” Chavez Jr. said via ESPN Deportes. So we think that I can go back in October. We talked about a couple of names, among them being Lucien Bute, but first I have to be okay with my hand and not give advantage.”

Probably at a c/w. The winner of this fight would have his career resurrected.:yep

If Bute didn't have a bad chin, Junior would have had ZERO chances. Bute hits harder than Fonfara, so if he manages to keep Chavez outside, he will win comfortably or stop the fat guy. Due to Bute's chin problem, Junior does have about 30% puncher's chance.

Lucian will stop him with a bodypunch especially @ 175 i don't see much chances for Chavez Jr if Bute still has it

Hard to see any angle in which one ought to favor JCC Jr. He has regressed tenfold since beating Lee in 2012. Bute would be smart to take the fight and look good beating a name.

. That's not his only deficiency. No heart. Fights like he is timid.

Yeah. He is gun shy since his defeat against Froch. It's hard to get beat up like that and erase the doubt that it could ever happen again. It's all mental in his case as he tends to freeze and even lost confidence in one if his biggest strengh since he became gun shy: counter punching abilities. I wish he can pass through these self confidence issues but it won't be easy to be as good as he once was.

He was never that good, he was a hometown protected fraud who got exposed and had his heart ripped out.

Hope it comes off. Bute could help get his confidence back after giving Chavez's son a shellacking.

Is Rosado willing to fight north of 168? Certainly wouldn't surprise me if he was. As far as I know Rosado has never fought heavier than MW and is better suited to JMW. Even at 168 Rosado would be disadvantaged.

yeah but I think Rosado would take it for the payday. He'd probably be in a win/win situation. People are saying it's a big possibility next lol
