Why are people still saying that JMM's punch in r6 would have knocked out anyone?

    No, it wouldn't have knocked ANYONE out :patsch, it knocked out Pacquiao and that's it. That's all the facts that we're given. There are guys with better chins than others. That's a fact that irrefutable in this sport. Guys like Provodnikov, Rios, Mayweather Jr would have taken those shots like they were light refreshments.

    Please stop jumping to conclusions.

    He's never been down by a punch in his career so stop assuming things. Just because it knocked out "X fighter" doesn't mean that shot knocks out Y/Z/A fighters. :yep

    Now those were different cases, where those shots most likely would have knocked out anyone else.

    It's an entirely different situation.

    That's nothing but baseless speculation. All we know about that punch is that it KO'd that specific fighter.

    "That punch would have KO'd anyone" is the stupidest idea in boxing.

    Rarely does such a punch come along. Perfectly timed, located and even with an inertial assist from the recipient diving in. Damed straight it would have put anyone on their azz.

    That particular shot helped by them leaping into it would have slept everybody south of 154 and probably quite a few bigger.

    Please stop with the agenda.

    Floyd has not earned being mentioned alongside Rios or Provodnikov in terms of beard.

    No agenda. It's common sense. Mayweather has never been down to a punch, we can safely assume he would not have gone down. :happy

    I'm not talking about what the thread starter said, I'm talking about your statement that the KO punch would have knocked out others below 154, which is indeed just speculation based on nothing.
