Why are people still saying that JMM's punch in r6 would have knocked out anyone?

    The replies in this thread are disgusting, the "that punch would have KO'd anybody" crowd are out in force it seems.

    Uncritical fanboy groupies who can't fathom that their favourite fighters might have chin problems.

    Glass Jaw's exist in boxing, fact.

    No it only means that you have listed highly skilled technical fighters that have managed to not get caught, It certainly does not mean if that did get caught they would not go down.

    We've seen those guys take hellacious shots and never went down.

    We can safely assume that guys with proven granite chins would not have gone down from that shot. :bbb

    Well I'm saying guys with proven granite chins don't go down like that despite getting caught with that punch! :good

    I don't think Floyd would have even went down. We only know that Pac went down and out, no one else. :admin

    Anybody can get caught, but not everyone will be KO'd as many fighters take flush shots during their careers and end them without suffering a KO loss. "That punch would have ko'd anybody" is nothing but pure baseless speculation.

    If you have an iron chin you don't get KO'd, period.

    Pac suffered one of the most brutal KO's in recent times, he was asleep for 5minutes. That doesn't happen to fighters with strong chins.

    Yes agenda to build a case that Floyd is possessed of a granite chin.

    The truth is that Floyd's defensive excellence prevented that chin from ever being tested and good for him.

    But it is no more speculation to say the KTFO6 punch would have had the same effect as it had on Pacman than it is to say it wouldn't.
