I didnt get a chance to watch all of his fights but Im aware that he lost most of his big fights against the other elite fighters. However I recall that some of his losses were really close and could have easily gone the other way for example the loss to Floyd...To me he seems like a really unlucky guy when it came to the judges. Home many of his fights could have gone in his favour?? Ive already mentioned the floyd one which im sure could have easily gone his way and nobody would have complained. Also had these really really close fights gone his way would he be an ATG??
Whitaker, Quartey, and Sturm were wins it seems most or a good many scored against him. Trinidad and Mosley II are losses it seems most or a good many scored for him. ...maybe another with some controversy but this seems like the five most mentioned fights when it comes to questionable calls in Oscars' career.
Oh right. So your saying hes actually been lucky rather than unlucky as hes had more decisions that should have gone against him compared to decisions that should have gone for him. Interesting.
Interestingly enough, most ringside observers scored the second Mosley fight for Mosley. All the commentators, and a large majority of the fans and ringside observers scored the fight against Floyd for Floyd. So the Trinidad fight was probably the only fight were you could really argue he was robbed. I guess you could make an argument for the second Mosley fight as well considering the commentators and the fans watching on TV had it for Hoya, while all 3 judges and the ringside observers had it for Mosley.
