Have their ever been a female fighter in history, taunting a Male fighter? The media seems to be soaking this up. Rousey is a good fighter at what she does against her gender, but do we really think she can beat Floyd in a fight? I serious doubt she's stronger than Floyd, and even though strength plays a small factor, comparing same genders. I think it will play a big factor putting opposite genders against one another. Which is why this isn't done. I like Rousey though, by no means am I knocking her talent. I don't think she should have gotten fighter of the year though.

Don't blame her, mentioning Floyd's name gets you publicity.

I saw that fight. It was pretty sad, because her technique was streets above the guy that she was fighting ... just didn't have the power to hurt him. That said, an MMA fighter enjoys a vast technical edge against a pure boxer. I wouldn't put money on Floyd winning ;)

lol I've sparred against female black belts who were higher ranked than me and had to hold back. Combat sports between men and women is like night and day. Even Lomachenko would do a job on Rousey. She is just trying to generate publicity.

If it was the same gender than I agree with you, but Floyd vs Rousey. My money would be on Floyd.

I agree, but the one thing that Floyd doesn't have is an MMA skillset. Let me put it like this: when I was a kid I did Judo (didn't even get to the higher belts) and even the basic knowledge I gained from that enabled me to handle older, bigger kids who weren't Judokas. There's little so satisfying as flipping a bigger bully over your hip and pinning him down for 20 minutes because he doesn't know how to escape.

Watching MMA from the early "cage fighting" days has also given me an appreciation of just how vulnerable a pure striker (and especially a pure boxer) is to take downs and grappling techniques. Take a look at Toney vs Couture for the usual outcome. I'm not sure that Floyd's greater male strength would compensate for lack of technique.

I feel sorry for blokes in the pub who actually think she could come close to beating him in any form of combat..... He would fuxckn cave her skull in the silly biotech with 30seconds

Rhonda Rousey would lose to most physically fit men of typical body size in the 18-35 age range.

If Rousey really believed she could fight and beat men in either MMA or Judo she would have done it by now instead her and Dana White take verbal shots at Floyd and make up fake stories about Rhonda beating up men in cinema theatres

The reality is she's likely sparred Judo with fully grown men and got toyed with, she knows the truth of what would happen if she fought a man for real. This is all just publicity seeking BS.
