It's the reason I know he will eventually get KTFO...he's going to stick around too long. He's addicted to the game too much...its going to be fun to watch his downfall

If he's sticking around then he has no excuse to be fighting Berto, it's no longer a farewell fight or anything...now it's just some pathetic fight.

Wait how could this be? Showtime/CBS have only LOST money with Floyd's contract. Why would they want to extend it? :patsch

People will see through the Floyd charade and wont be paying top dollar for his fights anymore.

Berto should be free. The public know this and it kills Floyd having to give up his money for this fight.

I haven't seen telling signs of slippage to be honest, Maidana was always going to cause him big problems, he deserved a hell of a lot more credit than he gets taking that fight how Maidana looked against Broner, Marquez and Mayweather have the kryptonite to Pacman's style, Maidana has the perfect remedy to Floyd's.

You have mostly excellent posts...but Maidana? Totally disagree. We already know...and knew, that Broner was a terrible Welter. Beating him is nothing and in no way did Maidana earn a Floyd fight. He did however do enough to warrant a rematch, but was not even a top 10 welter.

I honestly believe what worked against Broner almost worked against Floyd, he was dominant enough to get a draw imo and I'm a big Mayweather fan.
