khan was schaeffer's boy. if schaeffer is still running gbp, khan would've gotten a chance at floyd.

 

khan doesn't even deserve a european title shot , hes cherrypicked his whole career, since his failures at world level hes done nothing. He needs to beat Thurman, Brook or Bradley to get the floyd fight

 

Who won the fight :huh also,floored Maidana with a body shot. Not even Floyd did that ..And he's only been KO Ed twice Garcia is no slouch in the punching dept but keep trying to belittle the guy for **** you have no clue about..

 

Khan is a coddled Glass Jawed fighter. He has no Chin. It isn't up for debate with anyone that knows even a modicum about Boxing. He hasn't fought one puncher under Hunter. They are intentionally seeking out feather fisted opponents. Roach didn't let him do that and he ended up getting KOed yet again.

Khan is going to have to fight Thurman to get the Mayweather fight in 2016. Otherwise he won't get that one either.

Khan didn't deserve the fight pure and simple. He did nothing to make it a fight the fans really wanted, in fact plenty of fans didn't want Khan next or ever.

Khan is fast and that makes it a tricky fight, Mayweather would definitely win but he might have to work harder that he wants to at this point in his career, why face Khan then if he gets no respect for beating him and minimal financial gain?

Had Khan built up the fight properly beating Alexander a year before he did, beating Broner, rematching Garcia or Petersen then maybe the fans would have been demanding this fight and the belief would have been the fight would bring some significant financial benefit over another opponent.

But Khan threw away his career by cherry picking. He just waited in line believing he some how deserved a shot at the cash cow when he was being ridiculed by fans from every direction. Khan has gotten what he deserves.

Khan seems to have his own personal set of criteria to meet in order to fight Floyd. What a load of nonsense. He deserves it just as much as a Thurman, Brook, Maidana etc. he certainly deserves it more than Berto.
