    Its not bad. But even at Floyd's age, while you beat his whole body he might score points and run ahead on the cards.

    Yup. We've heard the "gonna hit him anywhere I can" approach a dozen or so times now.

    I maintain the way to beat Mayweather is to change up a couple of times during the fight. He adjusts very well so maybe in addition to "hitting him in the shoulder" there should be like 3 other plans that get implemented on a rotating basis.

    All this is predicated on the fighter not shelling up once they get a stiff counter or two (or 12...or several sharp jabs to the solar plexus)

    It's a strategy I've heard countless times. Watch the Corrales fight. They talked about how Corrales said in the pre fight meetings that he would employ the same strategy. The problem is that Floyd isn't going to just sit there in let people land big shots anywhere on him consistently.

    The reason they don't, is ironically because of power. Floyd catches you and it stops you in your tracks.

    That could possibly wear him down late, the problem is that it'd take time and the judges rarely, if at all, score shoulder, chest, and bicep shots. Floyd would build an early lead that way.
