This is why there ought to be transnational uniformity on both a) lists of banned substances and b) testing methods. Surely we all can agree on that?

Yeah, he doesn't care about one of his career best wins possibly being changed to a NC or his respect among the boxing community going down the drain. Yeah, he was so unwilling to waste the couple hours maximum on the phone that would be needed to clear the issue and his reputation... Yeah he was so unwilling to do all that. He gave no care in the world about these evil Brits trying to "nickel-and-dime" him over "ancient history" except the care to actually appeal it in the first place. He filed the freakin' appeal so that they couldn't publicly announce anything so that he could get additional paydays. Which he did.

Because American testing means commission testing which does scheduled urine tests, if any tests at all.

It is still a big minority of fights that actually have USADA or VADA testing.
