He's said in the past that Golovkin would beat him and Chris Jr in the same night...

And recently he has openly admitted to IFL that he would never chase Golovkin for a potential unification fight down the road (unless silly money was thrown at him) and that he will only be willing to fight him when he's noticeably past his best.

**** his honestly, I just cannot take him seriously anymore. I actually think BJS's style would work well in stages against GGG but everything is redundant after what he said. In contrast, Team Eubank say that are already preparing for an eventual fight with Golovkin in Chris Jr's training.

I like BJS. Great boxer and he's quite funny to follow on Twitter. He's just quite honest about things isn't he. Very down to Earth (or at least seems to be).

Out of the two, BJS would do better I think. CEJ would get sparked because of his over-confidence

I remember watching Barker and Murray, sat side by side (I think it was the night GGG demolished Macklin) practically sh!tting themselves live on SKY whilst talking about the prospect of fighting Golovkin.

It was both embarrassing and eye-opening!!

Let's be honest, as much as I like BJS, he would have no chance of beating GGG.

As for Chris Jnr, he may have a very slight punchers chance, but GGG would probably beat him swifter than he (GGG) would BJS..and more brutally.

I like Billy Joe too. I think he's a smart boxer in the ring and has made some good financial decisions out of it. But I just think openly admitting someone is going destroy you should not be a boxer's mentality. There is a way to beat anyone, regardless of how impossible it may seem. I don't think Saunders has sparred GGG or fought him in the amateurs so I don't understand the open fear. The comment about GGG beating both him and Eubank in the same night is embarrassing IMO.

You make a fair point. And you would think that any doubts would be kept to himself.

Mind you, Barker (or Murray, I can't remember which) saying the only way they'd fight GGG was if they had a baseball bat was just as bad.

And then Murray went and took GGG into the eleventh!

    Go figure.

I expect BJS to cause Lee fits before his poor conditioning and poor mindset kick in and he gets taken out.

I actually find his honesty quite refreshing.

Would have been easier to lie and kid on that he'd like a fight with GGG but took more ***** to admit that's the last thing he wants.

People like BJS are proof that having 4 "world" champions in the same weight division is a ****ing travesty and is damaging the sport badly.

True but it's called business and pro sport's always been and always will be all f.ucked up. Everyone's a "world champion" after 5 minutes it seems. Loses all meaning, still who cares I watch fights for other reasons than belts, titles and all that sh!t.

I'm sure BJS would fight Golovkin for the right money and slowly start to believe he could win it, if they did fight. But he's just realistic.. we all know Golovkin would knockout BJS, he just knows it to...

BJS if he had claimed he would beat GGG would be derided he is being honest and refreshing for me rather than fake bravado.
