    Froch straight-up ducked James DeGale. Eubank never straight-up ducked anyone, he even stepped in on a week or so's notice, way overweight to face a young Calzaghe, then two weights up against a 210lb ripped Thompson (with one eye for most of the fights). I don't put Froch in the same warrior bracket, which is hardly a knock on Froch!

    He fought Nigel Benn with his hands at his waist and his shoulders low, I'd love to see Froch take on GGG with with his low-handed style, without hiding his chin behind his shoulder side-on. Ha.

    There was actually a fighter Eubank avoided...he readily admits to never wanting to face Herol Graham after being totally frustrated after sparring him.

    He also ducked Toney after Toney said he'd beat him AND his mother's a$$ LIVE on NATIONAL TV!

    Toney had Chris shook, simple.

    Yes remember the interview well Toney alongside Mickey Rourke and Benn and Eubank in the studio.

    Told them he would beat them both on the same night...Toney certainly upset Eubank that night!

    There were many fighters Eubank avoided after already winning the world championship and being top of the tree.

    whatever. Froch came out of the fight without a mark on him, no headache, no bruised knuckles, nothing.

    As I remember didn't Eubank sign a crazy deal money wise with SKY regarding a long term multi fight deal?
    I think Eubank and Hearn Snr decided at that time to fight every 10 weeks or so milked the deal with fringe ranked fighters.

    Bob Arum openly stated he wouldn't let Nunn or Toney fight Eubank because he felt Eubank had too much of an awkward style. See ITV pre-fight Eubank/Holmes.

    McClellan and McCallum were never really super-middleweight contenders (and McCallum had no American TV deal), and Eubank was already down to fight Ray Close after Jones beat Toney (Close failed the brain scan, Collins stepped in and the rest is history).

    Jones himelf admitted in '93 in BM that Eubank was that one fighter he felt would cause him real issues.

    Every six or seven weeks, yeah! Amaral was supposed to be easy, but turned out to be very tough - very determined and strong. Storey was supposed to be easy and was. Schommer was supposed to be easy but turned out to be a master southpaw counter-puncher who had secretly outboxed and outpointed Virgil Hill in Hill's last amateur bout. Wharton was supposed to be easy but turned out to be unstoppable. And Collins was supposed to be easy (after stepping in for Ray Close) but turned out to be a pre-fight head-fu*k!
