Brandon Rios has had gist decisions against Abril. Got beat silly by Manny. Ended Alvadrado after Marquez almost killed him along with Ruslan. Struggled with Diego Chaves, who fought dirty and Robert Garcia was crying about it, literally (irony). And now he gets another shot at welter weight gold by getting a fight with Tim Bradley.
Somebody tell me how he keeps getting big fights? We all know as well as Arum that this fight is a doozy for Desert Storm. Rios is the Top Rank version of Guerrero even when Manny fought him. Just a body with a Mexican last name.:patsch

I thought it was the other way around? With silly clauses in the contract...

Rios-Chaves Foul Filled Chaves deserved to be DQ'd
Rios Alvarado 2 Pretty Close loss.
    Rios Manny Total Beatdown.

what silly clauses? a rematch clause, thats pretty standard business on a voluntary. If brook lost he would go to america for the rematch.

Clearly brandon had other options and decided the brook fight wasn't worth the money and having to go to a guys hometown...

Top rank seem to do a pretty good job in creating 'name' value for there fighters, meaning that even if they have guys that lose other guys want to fight them because they have name value to sell the fight.

Losing isn't the end of the world. Try to grasp that concept.

I thought it was more than that. Didnt they (Brook's team) want to pick the gloves Rios was to wear, and have a rehydration clause as well? I might be wrong

The gloves are a commission ruling. Nothing to do with Brook. A re-hydration clause I haven't heard but that would favor Rios more than Brook, because Brook is bigger at the weight than Rios.

Basically the way the Rios camp keep making things up like rematch clauses (standard procedure for a voluntary defense) and Brook trying to tell Rios was gloves to wear (proven not to be true), should tell you who really ducked the fight.

No, the british boxing board have a problem with the gloves rios wears, I'v no idea why. I believe gradvoch wore them and they didn't want him to and since I guess are stricter on that rule. Brook or matchroom had no problem with the gloves and nope I'v not heard anything about any rehydration clause, brooks a big welter so can't see that being true.
