Another farcical performance from ref Reville in the Horn Plotnikov fight. 1st he allowed the doctor to treat the cut with pressure and adrenalin. Doctors have no authority to treat cuts during the fight. They can only inspect cuts and adjudicate on whether the fight should be stopped. Then a rd later it was Horns corner who wanted to pull him out of the fight. The trainer called the ref to the corner and asked what the rule was if the fight was stopped. Reville said it would go to the cards then the trainer said if that was the case then his boy would win and Reville agreed both knowing that Horn was ahead on points. Reville then made up a story that the doctor had stopped the fight knowing that if Horns corner pulled out they would lose. He then asked the supervisor what the rule was and asked if a point should be deducted. This is a rule of the WBC only and there was no WBC title involved in this fight. He was in a total state of confusion and even wearing the green shirt uniform of the WBC. This referee has plenty of prior form most notably Darchinyan Gorres.
