Most likely because they don't want to pay out, typical cheating bookies. They assess how much money they have to pay out, void when it suits them but will mysteriously settle bets for the fight to go the distance as a lose, but void any stoppage bets. Scum
I think it's in their rules that whenever the scheduled number of rounds in a fight is changed all bets are off.
I've written a gambling preview of the Sky Sports card tonight if anyone is interested: http://gamblegeek.com/2015/09/05/weekend-boxing-betting-preview-tips/
Good tips mate, especially the Braehmer shout. I stuck that one on my accumulator; just need McDonnell to decision Kamada tonight now for £50.
Waiting to see if the odds for the stoppage are good enough to play don't know how much Rubio has left Dirrell should be stopping him at this stage I reckon
Certainly is pal, won another £17 on the football tonight as well. :happy What are your thoughts on Mayweather/Berto and Groves/Jack? I'm thinking Mayweather points, Groves KO?
I write a weekly tipster article for www.gamblegeek.com so I'm still pondering. My early thoughts are Mayweather on points @1/2 and Groves outright @4/7. I think the hate for Groves has gone too far, think how Badou Jack would have performed against Froch, he would have been annihilated early doors and it wouldn't have even been competitive. Mayweather is an odd one, I have a horrible feeling that the whole thing is scripted for Mayweather to have a KO win to "end" his career. We might see the ref jump in so that's my concern in betting points.
Post it up when you've published it mate. I meant Groves to win via KO. Jack hasn't shown anything to suggest he's going to beat Groves, who is better in every aspect in my opinion. Yeah, that's my thought too. My head is saying Mayweather on points and my heart is saying he'll TKO Berto. I'll probably go for Mayweather on points in the end.
