"Get him out of the way and I would like the unification fight, though I’m under contract for a rematch with him, so that will probably happen depending on how he gets bladdered. "

Wow this is news to me. Last time I heard of a rematch clause in a mandatory defense was Vitali vs. Solis, where Solis pocketed an extra $300k on top of his regular purse to sign the rematch in case he won.

Nice for Fury, the rematch should be in the UK. I have a felling that Tyson has Wlad's number. You can only reign for so long

So what do you think this means Fritz?

Is Wlad looking to squeeze as much cash out of his limited career as is possible?

It means that if something unbelievable happens, like Wlad suffers some sort of health problem in the ring, Tyson will get the opportunity to get KTFO'd by the ATG next time.
There is a 99.99% chance there will be no rematch.

Why don't you tell us Sherlock. You're the big "I can explain everything" know-it-all.

Most likely it means Wlad doesn't want to take any risks of not having a chance of grabbing all 4 belts and is willing to pay extra for it. As easy as that. Can't wait to hear your tinfoil-hat spin on it though.

Who did Wlad ever rematch guys who beat him?
    Purity, Williamson, Sanders -- No
    Brewster - immediate. No.

I f Fury beats him , he will only take the rematch to get another paycheck

I thought this was normal for Klitschko fights :?
There was rematch clause with Haye and I'm sure it even extended to fighting Vitali, if Wladimir lost the rematch.

    Wrong thread

Isn't this standard for Wlad's opponents? I swear it used to be if somebody beat one brother, the other would be up next?
