There will be no need for a rematch....Wlad's going to retire Fury, who will be doing panto for pay this Christmas.

So is it only a rematch if Wlad loses?

Fury said he's retiring if he losses to Wlad.Is he all talk or will he keep that one promise.

Not for the unification fight of Wlad vs Haye that actually happened. No rematch clause.

For the 2008 fights that Haye bailed out of he was a voluntary challenger so yes there were options. Fury however is a mandatory challenger and is under no obligation to sing a rematch clause. We have to assume K2 waved a big stack of cash in front of him.

Yes. That's how the contract between Vitali and Solis was structured as well. If Vitali wins (which he did) no rematch. In the unlikely event Solis won, he'd have to rematch Vitali. Solis manager agreed to this asymmetrical clause for an additional €300k paycheck.

In hindsight it wasn't a bad idea for Solis to sign this. I guess K2 sees this as insurance money in case 'something unforeseen happens'.

Just a standard oppressive condition imposed in a typical K2 "slave" contract.....right, Dino?

All talk - if [and when] he gets KO'd by Vlad there's still fights and paydays out there for him. Keep in mind Fury is only like 18 months older than AJ.

Klitschko has a rematch clause in every single fight.

If I remember correct, it was a rematch clause for Vitali, and also a fight with Wlad. So in total, a 3 fight deal if he won, 2 chances for the Klitschkos to take back the belt.
