derry imo sits about No6 in the UK Burns, Campbell ,Flannagan ,Crolla & Mitchell in no particular order ahead of him
Been saying since the channel started that fighters absolutely lose serious profile with fights tucked away on a tiny Butt Nation Channel. Exposure to a declining tiny audience week after week means out of sight out of mind. Stating that, I think Sky are out of order with the solo promoter deal which has resulted in the non PPV mismatches hyped up as 50/50 fights. (eg Campbell v Coyle last night and coming soon Joshua v Cornish Wafer)
Derry isn't a great fighter though so I'm not sure what he expects, he is one of very few people that manages to get out boxed easily by Coyle who is not a boxer by any stretch of the imagination. I like Derry and Tommy for that matter but Derry's persistent whining about not being mentioned in this and that is just really pathetic.
Didn't Derry get good Sky coverage when he was with Dave Coldwell due to Coldwells links with Matchroom. He then dumped Coldwell (on Twitter I think by announcing he had signed with FW). Real what you sow - Coldwell seems to put a lot into his fighters, if he had stayed loyal he would still be relevant
True he may be more relevent but doesnt take away the fact hes unlikely to beat most of the names mentioned and by the the way means no slur on Derry who is a top pro
