So if according to you he never knocked anyone out or knocked anyone out early, he must have the worst knockout ratio of any champ.... I'll just go check for you.....

He's only got the second highest knockout ratio in heavyweight championship history... Wow!!!

IThis is a hard fight to call because both men had particularly unique styles. I think that if it ever happened people would be rather surprised at the outcome. I'm guessing that either Tyson gets him out of there quickly or gets beaten to a pulp over the long haul. I'm leaning toward a Klitschko win because of two factors - Mike's usual size disadvantage is magnified in this one and Vitali's chin is battletested like no other. That said, if anybody brings the explosives to crack him open, it's prime Tyson.

It seems to me the longer this fight goes the more it favours Vitali, that being the case, I think Vitali wins, as I don't think he's the type of fighter who (given all his attributes) is going to be KO'd early in a fight, he's simply to big and skillful for that to happen.

So we use an old version of Klitschko as a barometer. Lets use the Danny Williams fight then as a barometer for Tyson. Comes into the fight what 20 poundes heavier than ever before? And he outlasts Tyson?

Better yet, big guy McBride. I must have missed the part where Mike systematically broke down the big guy in that one. Maybe you can re-fresh things a bit.

A huge problem for Tyson is not just the size of the opponent....this guy had much better legs than Tyson. Tyson is a 2 step guy. Left foot right foot punch. That won't get him in range. He squares up as soon as he tries taking 3 steps. And that's saying Vitali just stands there. He won't & that movement causes additional steps and balance.

That's not even getting into changing the arc of his punches to land effectively.

    Dafuk are you talking about?

That old version was just as good , if not better than when he was younger. Who did he beat when he was younger that proves that was the better version?
Vitali II was the massive favourite in all his fights and he delivered.

You'd be laughed at calling him a shot fighter. Tyson past 2000 was a shot fighter.
The level of shot between them is not even measurable.

Mike didn't have problems with better bigger guys than Vitali. And Vitali's legs were nowhere near as good as Tyson's. He had stiff , dandy legs.
Thats usually how everybody moves, then they add another two step to advance.
Mike had exceptionally fast feet , he would be all over Vitali.
Vitali stiffed legged around the ring with his hands down. His defence was non existent. A shocking level of opposition was his defence.
Lewsi came in wide open and mashed him up.

He doesn't have the variation of skills to combat Tyson. Straight punchers are all wrong against him. All wrong.
