Interesting comparison. Has some merit, I think.

But this was true also of ESPNs Friday Night Fights, USA's Tuesday Night Fights, and ESPNs Top Rank Boxing before this. Anytime you try to do regular volume shows, quality dips.

Would people rather have NO regular boxing on TV?

 

I don't understand what this "free tv" thing is. For the last 10 years I've had the pleasure of watching fights almost every week on different networks that are free.

I thought it started off well at first but now kinda slowed down, these past few events have been trash.

Production wise, nothing touches HBO though, for me the way they do boxing embodies it.

 

Yeah, for the main event A-sides, because they're Haymon's special pets. Zero effort or money is put into making the shows enjoyable or compelling.

 

Very true what really annoys me is the fans on here saying 'why you complaining it's free'

These strike me as the same type of people who would watch gay por.n if it was on free tv

 

And that's IGNORING the free legal streams to things like "Homecoming" the other week, the recent Black Flash card in the UK or tomorrow's Japanese amateur stuff, all streamed free online!

 

PBC is fake...mora trying to convert the loss to a no contest and then the next fight the referee presses the ejecter seat for mallinagi...it's a joke.

 

PBC-The "Boxing" company that gives you the fights you don't want to see.Al will do ok,taking his 10 or 20 percent on the side while spending other peoples money with NO return.At the end of this mess,Al will walk away with 20 million in his pockets and the "investors" left holding the bag.
I am so pleased I do not invest with Waddel&Reed,thats for sure!

 

McDonalds is popular. PBC is more like the Arby's or Carl's Jr of boxing.
