I'm hoping for the best but I don't think any form of defense will help him with a Beterbiev or Kovalev, but as long as he avoids them and sticks to the Braehmer's and Monaghan's of the Division I think he should be good.

I'd like to see him against Ward or Degale.

yeah, if he's still gun shy then it's over but against Pascal, he showed some toughness by taking those heavy shots, so I think he's better at 175.

Nobody pulls off a stylistic 180° turnaround successfully that deep into a career.

MAB, and DPDL. That's it. Somehow I very much doubt Bute can join their ranks by reinventing himself and winning a title. Mainly because he's a much lesser fighter than either.

To bad he is with Haymon, I still would have liked a Bute-Ward fight.

I hope so. Bute seems like a swell dude.

If he can gain some steam, maybe he be added to the mix at 175. Wouldn't mind a Bute-Stevenson fight.

Ward won„t give him a chance to fight with him unless Bute becomes lineal champion at LHW which is less probable.Even if Bute becomes champion to SMW Ward will continue to stay with the back to him.

Lucian Bute would knock out Andre Ward, even nowadays.

Ward totally ducked Bute when he was the obvious opponent after the Super Six.

He knew that it would take an iron chin warrior to beat Bute, an knew Froch would have a far bigger chance than him.

Smart move by Goosen to singlehandedly boycott Bute from the S5, and even smarter move hiding ward from him before frock ended by him.
