Berto was fighting through shoulder injuries in his embarrassing losses to JSK and guerrero. A healthy berto is still a very solid B+ or A- fighter. Can he beat floyd? Probably not but stop getting carried away.

    Berto > aligieri
    Berto > brandon rios

Agreed. A healthy Berto is better than Algieri or Rios.

In terms of the gulf in class this is one of the worst match ups in a LONG time.

Berto will do better than Pacquiao and Canelo. I bet the fight will be pretty exciting too.

Imagine the chaos if Berto knocks Floyd out? Jesus Christ

I don't care if I ever see Floyd fight again... He is a brilliant fighter, but I am bored of watching him fight guys with no chance.

I don't think Berto is that bad, at least he has some kind of punchers chance. I guess there are worse 40-1 underdogs you could be on. Floyd has to kill time until Manny is ready for another "Fight of the Century". They will sell this as his last fight and Rocky Marciano blah, blah, blah,. I think I'll pass

Frankie Gavin is far worse :lol:, and you're right Brook isn't #1 p4p and he's not nearly 40 and he also didn't come off fighting the #2 p4p in Pac . Brook fought back to back bums, granted one was a mando so it was excused, but then shat in his fans face by fighting an absolute bum that's levels below Berto in Gavin on PPV.

You Floyd fanboys, make me sick. Defend anything Floyd does, even the indefensible. It's a pure bore fest of a fight, so one sided. Berto or king Khan, hmmm this is tricky, soooo tricky....KING KHAN!

Mayweather should be held to a much higher standard to Brook, especially given the historical relevance to the 49-0.

Mayweather is far out of his prime and nearly 40, Brook is supposed to be the next big WW, yet he fought an absolute bum in Gavin right after fighting a bum in Dan. And seriously who the **** cares about 49-0? Chavez passed that record by far before his first loss. Mayweather is old as **** and wants a soft touch, is it PPV worthy? fk no, but pac and then Berto is a billion times better than back to back bums like Brook, and even putting one of those bums on PPV.
