Beterbiev turned down Kovalev offer.

    According the Fat Dan, Kathy Duva said that team Beterbiev turned down a very fear offer to fight Kovalev and wants to fight for the IBF eliminator rather then the three belts Kovalev has.

    They can't complain, they turned down the purse bid for Stevenson.

    Beterbiev will be around, he will be better in a few more fights as well.

    No I'm a hardcore Kovalev fan, I like Beterbiev and have been promoting him for awhile as you know, but when it comes down to one on one ...I go with Sergey.

    So does that mean a potential fight with Hopkins...?

    Yeah the war between Haymon and Duva I doubt will thaw anytime soon.

    That fight makes no sense for Hopkins, so I'd think probably not. But you never know with him.
