If Pac Algeri can be made, then so can Floyd Berto.

Rubbish fight, worst than him fighting Guererro a couple of fights back. Salka match up with Garcia still got it beat. Mayweather's time at the top is up anyways, his skills have been declining for a while now. Time for him to hang them up.

floyd has never unified a division
meaning when he picks one of the 4 champions to fight and wins, he will then defend his 1 belt against "contenders" instead of the other top guys who actually hold the other belts.
he gets full props for beating Canelo , Pac, Cotto
the guerrero, ortiz, JMM, SSM, Maidena, Hatton..... YAWNNNNN

This fight is horse ****. I'm a big fan of Floyd and still shocked at this. He has done it as he will look great beating him and this will then put him in a strong position to negotiate his next deal.

If he stops him and throws bombs/combinations then that makes up for it but if it's a 12-0 decision that's not only a slap in the face but a kick in the *****!!!

This. He is just playing it safe to get his 50+ victory.

    I'm ok with this.

His may fight will be pacman 2 where he will make up what he will lose on Sep 12th

atleast algeri was a champ coming off a win against provo,, this berto fight is a disgrace, especially for his 'last fight' as he keeps stating but no one is taking serious
Bradley, Brook, Thurman, all far more deserving, even porter probably is
even if the likes of matthysse and crawford went up a weight to fight him, would be more interesting then this

This fight gets Floyd out of his Showtime contract. They will build it up like it is his last fight, Rocky Marciano 49-0, blah, blah, blah, and it allows him to kill time til Manny is healthy enough for another "Fight of the Century". It will be funny watching Floyd try to sell this one with the last fight angle, though we all know it won't be his last fight. Does anybody really think he is going to leave all the money for a Pacquaio rematch on the table. I doubt it. I've got no time for Floyd anymore
