In a stacked division, there's nothing shameful about being 11-15 ranked.

Chavez might not have the name value of Bradley, Rios but its a step in the right direction and hes just as dangerous.

Chavez has handled himself with 3 of the top ten wws, with Brook being the 4th.

That's better than another certain ww from Bolton.

A step in the "right direction" is one of the champions facing an opponent ranked around between 11-15? Ok...:lol:

I'd agree with this. Except for the last sentence. Brook would win and win easily and then everyone will declare that Chaves is a bum.

    It's fairly simple.

Hearn is worried Brook would get beat in the states and that would put a massive spanner in the works regarding the Khan fight - stadium and PPV = £

This is why he's willing to hold the belt fighting lesser opposition until the Khan fight gets made.

I agree but theres also other reasons, 1- making kell money.. he'l make more fighting on ppv in the UK rather than go to US and fight since he's not really known in the states.2- hearn needs a PPV star in the UK now froch has retired, kells the one who will deliver him 2-3 ppv's a year now. Going to the states does nothing for his profile over here. Casuals in the UK have no idea who thurman/porter/spence are so it does nothing for his profile over here.

Yeah right. You said Porter would smash him. You then said Gavin would beat him and promised to leave if proved wrong.

    +2

this is what i dont get....he should have been having these fights way before on his way to a title, instead he is looking for the easier options as a champion

i dont mind the fight too much since he is a protected fighter and shivers in fear when stepping it up.... i understand....after settling the score with killers like jo jo dan and frankie gavin he deserves it

Just to confirm to everyone, Brixton promised to be banned if Gavin lost to Brook. Talk about bottling it...

Did you not read my earlier post? Being ranked 11-15 in a division that is stacked is nothing to be ashamed of. Its certainly better than Chris Algieri.

Do you remember the time, you told me Floyd Mayweather ducked Margarito to fight 'Gernaro' in 2008?

If only Queen Khan would grow a pair and face Brook.

Well now that the Floyd fight is off, Khans running out of options.

Most likely hell dig up Guerrero or Ortiz.
