I do give credit. he hah his game plan and he stuck to it... even after going down a few times. another 2 of wlads that really stuck with me were the left hook against Peter in 1st fight. dramatic fight and in the 12th round BOOM and Lampley on HBO screaming "OH, THE LEFT HOOK WOBBLES PETER" amazing... and also that last punch to put Byrd down in the 2nd fight to become world campion again
Froch Kessler 2, about the last minute of round 8 Froch literally walks flush into a overhand right, and barely flinches
Some great choices in here. I'll add: -Tyson was shot by the time when Lewis fought him, but some of the punches LL connected on him in that fight were MONSTROUS. -Tua took a savage right hand from Lewis later in their fight that would've put most HWs on the canvas. -The 5th round of Ike Ibeabuchi vs Chris Byrd. I saw this fight live. That shot was INSANE. Byrd got up but his legs we're gone. Ike was the only guy to destroy Byrd in that fashion in the 90's.
Ah, classics. But I thing all three of those you mentioned will pail in comparison to the shot Wladimir puts on Fury in Oct. I'm guessing a bit, but I feel it's gonna be a left hook that either finishes it, or is the beginning of the end for Tyson. No disrespect to Fury, of course, he has earned his shot. He is going to catch his SHOT.
Forgot about that left "45" by Ike, good call. That thing was absurd. Chris should get a congressional Medal of Honor for beating the count, even though he was in no shape at all to continue.
He took the punch well but he rolled with it which took some sting out of it.i also think he was back with it when he was stopped,he was avoiding punches effectively and not taking any punishment
I think literally it would have lifted poor Amir out of his boots, sent him flying out of the ring and landing on the HBO commentators desk.
