So now that it's sunk in that Floyd is actually going to fight Berto what do we reckon Berto's best attributes are? He seems to have a decent jab and is faster than I remember.
His speed and power plus mayweather is 38 and slipping. It may be the right time to catch mayweather. It's not like he mayweather said I want the toughest fight And picked Berto. He was like give me a easy fight, no one expects Berto to win or even be a challenge. That's Berto's advantage, being underestimated. It's going to be hard to sell this fight, but if this truly is mayweather's last fight he should do it non ppv. People wouldn't think the fight so much as a joke, but more a victory lap.
Berto makes it all 12 rounds and lets Floyd stink out the joint then that's a victory for Berto even if Floyd wins. Floyd thinks he can showcase against him...don't let it happen.
He will give PBF a harder fight than #48 did. He can also throw a looping overhand right which is a great punch to throw against PBF when he's in the shoulder roll.
Looping overhand right is a horrific punch against Floyd... Unless you have the size and strength of Maidana and can get in range & hustle out of the Floyd elbow to try and land it then it's useless.
The only way i see Berto troubling Floyd is if Floyd decides to fight toe2toe with Berto. He brings alot of speed and explosiveness that he can unleash at any time. Im not happy about the PPV, but i get the idea that Floyd is going to fight Berto toe2toe, and that this fight might actually be good. Remember everybody was ****ting on Floyd/maidana 1 and that fight ended up being a great fight..so who knows..
Yes by getting injured and Floyd having to fight someone live, completely and utterly disinterested in this fight and I hope PPV numbers are poor
