    Leonard Ellerbe, the salaried butt kisser sprouting nonsense about Mayweather being the greatest boxer ever. The way he was speaking sounded like a sermon.
    It's disrespectful to the sport to say that Mayweather is TBE, it's like someone only as good as Wilfried Benitez coming on stage to proclaim he's GOAT :nut
    I know you guys were busting out the lines in your head before Mayweather spoke it, because he keeps saying the same damn thing. :patsch


    Mayweather's choice to fight Berto sums up his whole career. Berto turns out to be a pretty good name for his terribly overrated resume. :deal Fight the HOF's when they're very past prime, fight beltholders in a weak era and call them 'world champion'. :rofl
    You know it's a terrible era when Robert Guerrero goes from FW/SFW to being the main 'champ' at WW and getting a shot vs Mayweather.


    Duck Runhugger says Khan has 'Danny Garcia problems'. Hey Floyd, what about Berto's Guerrero, Karass and Ortiz problems? :hi:


    I laugh at people who don't look for role models outside of their community, and degrade themselves into choosing to kiss his butt with Ellerbe. :asskiss

    Berto good name in Floyd resume?sir you are a hater.also dissing all-time greats like Pacquaio,ODLH,Marquez,Mosley,Cotto and many more great fighters.

    Floyd is not the greatest,but haters sound like Floyd is some bum beater.only fighter in this era who has comparable resume with Floyd is Pacquaio.and depends of your bias,which one you prefer more.i have both about in same level.not much difference.

    There are four ATG's on Mayweather's resume. All of them were VERY past prime (Pac 2015, ODLH 2007, Mosley 2010) - look at the dates there, doesn't that sound like a joke to you? It's the oldest trick in the book to go for guys when they're past prime.
    Marquez rose to the weight in a way which made him fat and slow, compeltely different from in recent years, and yet Mayweather outweighed him at least by a whopping 4LBS at the weigh in. :patsch
    Cotto from 2013 is past prime, and isn't quite a HOF although he is borderline. If he gets in, it is solely on the basis of his popularity.

    This aint bias, this aint bias.

    He has Bredis Prescott problems too. The fact is, the guy has lost three fights and has never bothered to even try to avenge on of them.

    Say what you want about Mayweather, he avenges his CLOSE VICTORIES.

    Shot because they lost to Floyd?Pacquaio was coming of a Victory over Bradley.who is good/great.Marquez after Floyd delivered KO6.Mosley was coming of a Victory over Margarito_ODLH is only one who i see way past his prime.and Mosley could be argued.

    Marquez was very close to his prime,so was Pacquaio.say what you want,it was just Floyd style what made Pacquaio look ordinary.

    But of course i admit those are not greatest victories in history of boxing.but still great victories.
    Pac has H2H greater prime wins.Pac also have couple of terrible losses etc.so it equals things.and of course Lost to Floyd.

    If we go that far back in someones career, then it's ridiculous.

    Close victories? Well, in the opinion of most, he lost to Castillo, and IMO he drew to Maidana in the first fight which is a very plausible opinion, especially given no two Floyd fanboy can agree on the number of rounds Floyd lost in that first fight.
    - If he's TBE or the like, he should not be losing to Castillo or drawing to Maidana.

    Pre Welterweight, everyone ducked Mayweather, I've read that Tszyu, Morales, and Cassamayor all turned down fights...and Paquiao obviously ducked out of drug testing.

    You can make a case for Margarito, but he got caught doing what he got caught doing, and 6 months later Mayweather easily beat the guy who bet the **** out of him.

    You can make a legit case for only Paul Williams. He had the motorcycle accident, and he's bigger compared to Mayweather in the ring then Ward is to GGG*

    No, semi-shot before it.
    Pac was coming off a victory vs Bradley, but Bradley is known for being a light puncher (hence why Bradley twisted his knee trying to get a hard punch out on Pac :lol: ). Pac was HOF level in terms of his fighting abilities going into the Floyd fight, but not ATG-level HOF. Regardless, Bradley 2 was over a year before the Mayweather fight...for Pac's ancient RING-AGE, one year is bad.

    Pac was psychologically shot after his KO loss to Marquez, he emphasised pure boxing skills more and no longer high doses of what everyone knew to be the very threat vs Mayweather. Pac athletically slipped off and went worse since 2010. Congressman with no killer instinct in boxing by 2010.
    - I'm literally telling it like it is, but only fanboys reject the truth. Neutral people are alright.

    Mosley vs Margarito, and Mosley vs Mayweather was 15 months apart, and this is a 2010 Mosley. Can we not laugh at how ancient Mosley was? Mosley's prime was 10 years before that. It's no secret that Mosley faded. 'Could be argued', **** outta here with that bull.

    'Marquez was very close to his prime' :lol: Floyd fans...what about all of the points on the buildup to the fight? Conveniently forgotten.

    Mayweather conveniently retired from 2007-2009 when there were three killers and stylistic threats to Mayweather:
    Paul Williams, Antonio Margarito and prime Manny Pacquiao.

    Maidana gave Mayweather all he can handle, Margarito would have probably done a better job.

    No one knew about Margarito cheating using tainted gloves when Mayweather ducked him.

    1. I didn't think the Castillo fight was that close, or that exciting, he barely landed a punch in the first 6 rounds. I've watched it a few times, and the best Castillo does is 8-4 Mayweather.

    2. I scored Maidana - Mayweather I 9-3 Mayweather. Even having paid off the ref (I can't see any other explanation for Tony Weeks performance) Mayweather landed the clean punches, Maidana, the kicks, elbows, headbutts and takedowns.

    3. DLH was his closest fight, I scored it 7-5 with Mayweather winning the last two. DLH (who was only 32) seemed more interested in being a businessman, than training for another fight at that point.

    4. I don't think he lost, but if somebody else does, so what? If guys never lost, why make the fight. Kovalev beat Darnell Boone by split decision the first time and got decked. Ali lost to Ken Norton who was a nobody, Marciano had controversial decisions, Joe Louis lost to Max Shmelling, Bernard Hopkins lost two to Jermain Taylor. Nobobdy would say they aren't alltime greats.

    And no, Mayweather is not the best ever, not even close, it's a marketing ploy. J.C. Chavez won his first 87 fights before he "drew" with Whittaker.

    But a defense first fighter doesn't make 500 million dollars without making guys like you really really angry. So I guess it worked pretty well.

    Not to sure about 9-3 vs maidana and the Castillo fight was closer than 8-4 but everything else you've nailed.

    Floyd’s voice was gone during his speech at the press conference...

    He said he was up late the night before?? He could barely even talk, was it the coffee he was drinking? During his speech he realized his voice was messed up and was trying to find some water to clear his throat but all he could find was his coffee which made his voice even worse. Then he finally found that VOSS water but by that time his voice was done lol. what a way to kickoff your final fight Floyd...

    Actually Floyd had a hard time landing on Maidana in the 1st fight. Go watch closely. i scored that fight a draw.

    He never wanted a rematch with Prescott will give you that, but Pederson he got the rematch and Pederson got busted and he has tried for garcia rematch a few times and Danny doesnt want it.
