From the way people were hyping this guy you woulda thought he was the second coming of SRR :huh Brinson was literally boxing circles around him until he ran out of gas A real prospect like Eubank Jr would blow this guy away in a few rounds
People overhype him in that some people for some unknown reason compare him to GGG or Kovalev, but he's an interesting prospect
1) The first four rounds were all competitive, nobody was boxing circles. 2) Who 'gases' after four rounds when you've gone 10 in three quality fights, 8 plenty, and had a 12 week camp like Brinson did? 3) Eubank would get torn apart. Styles. All that said Dervyanchenko is the best MW prospect at the moment.
Like I've been saying for a long time, Khytrov is Lemieux Mk. II. Of course, given that Lemieux is now in line for a Golovkin shot (which never would have seemed likely even a year or two ago) that maybe isn't the biggest insult. :conf
There similar, but Lemieux has more power and is more explosive, while I think Khytrov has a better chin It's just so weird to me how a guy with that much amateur experience seems so unskilled and has such poor timing, along with a poor grasp of spatial awareness If his chin is as good as it seems, maybe he can be a Maidana or even Matthysse type, a brawler willing to take a punch for a punch, and willing to bang it out
Khytrov, decent tools but has taken a step back since joining the pros. The posters I have conversed with over the years have noticed this too. He needs to work on his defence, and work on pointscoring. All he tries to do is rely on his power, a shame for someone of his abilities.
He was sick at his stomach and still managed to nearly kill Nick Brinson to shut the **** up, as far Eubank goes Saunders already thoroughly exposed that one trick feather fist hypejob spoiled piece of garbage.
Princ£ is a troll who doesn't know anything about boxing (if its the prince I think it is).. I haven't seen the Khytrov fight, but its obvious how he'd fight. 'He was sick at his stomach'? He had a stomach bug and thus sickness? I saw the KO, the KO was brutal, it was a very chilling KO.
I've seen every one of Khytrov's fights and he hasn't changed much at all in his pro career, he's just not all that skilled. I'm actually puzzled how he became a succesful amateur to be honest.
Not buying that, he's looked the same as in his other fights, he didn't look worse physically, in fact I'd go to say he displayed a somewhat better stamina in this fight.
He's usually better and faster at cutting off the ring than he was last night. He was more sluggish than usual.
You've got to take into account he faced a faster guy than his other opponents as well. I didn't think he looked anymore sluggish than he always does, he's just a sluggish fighter to begin with.
